Azeems (Private) Limited, established in 1982, is a commodity trading, manufacturer’s sales agent and distribution firm that specializes in Forest Products. Forest products such as paper pulp are raw materials for industrial applications in the paper, packaging, pharmaceutical, biorefinery, textile and construction industries.
Over the years our company has expanded its reach into multiple sectors. In 2012, Azeems expanded into trading of minerals and ores for both local and export sales. In 2017, the company began vertically integrated operations by starting trade of pharmaceutical raw materials such as microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), itself a by-product of paper pulp. It further developed a pharmaceutical and respiratory products line.
In 2018, the company expanded into the agribusiness sector by developing its line of fertilizer products. Azeems is a large player in the trade of NitroPhos (NP) fertilizers, potash, sulphur, biofertilizers, amino acids and micronutrient fertilizers. It has expanded its range from basal dose and granular fertilizers to liquid fertilizers for use in fertigation, flood irrigation, drip irrigation and foliar spray applications. The company is registered as an authorized distributor of fertilizer material by the relevant regulatory authorities.
In 2020, the company started extensive agronomic and commercial trials on slow release multi-nutrient fertilizers, with a dedicated Agronomy and Research & Development (R&D) wing to conduct experiments with strict controls and precise monitoring & evaluation. The R&D wing is geared towards producing prescription fertilizer blends that promote balanced plant nutrition. We at Azeems hold the vision that innovation is the key to unlocking Pakistan’s vast potential in increasing agricultural productivity. Azeems is spear-heading innovation in this sector by rethinking fertilizer programs through the lens of optimized nutrition management practises. Our vision as a private sector enterprise is in line with Pakistan’s commitment to reaching the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Our future plans include the establishment of in-house blending, granulation and packaging facilities to produce prescription fertilizer products. By 2025, we also aim to become one of Pakistan’s leading exporters of iron ore and mineral products.
